Contemplating the world before there were people is not a transfiguration, a nostalgic reminiscing of an idealized past. The involvement with the landscape, with its intrinsic temporality, engages us as participants in the present. Synchrony and presence are established. Angela Lyn – and the viewer with her – look into the here and now. We become contemporaries.
